These Terms and Conditions govern your use of oilandgaspermit.ng and the services we provide. oilandgaspermit.ng is owned and operated by TCorporate Legal Advisory. By using this website or engaging us, you accept these terms.
Who we are and what we do
oilandgaspermit.ng processes permits, licences, certificates and registrations for companies operating in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. This includes NUPRC permits, NMDPRA permits, NCDMB registration, NPA permits, NIMASA certificates, NCEC registration, NIPEX registration, DUNS certificates, ISO certification support, ship chandler licences, and vendor registration with operators.
We act as your filing and processing agent. We prepare and submit applications on your behalf and liaise with the relevant authority. We are not a government agency, and we are not an agent or representative of any regulator or operator.
No guarantee of approval
Approval decisions rest entirely with the relevant regulator, agency, certification body or operator. We do not control those decisions and we cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, or approved within any particular period.
Any timeline we give you is an estimate based on normal processing conditions. Timelines may be affected by regulator backlogs, system downtime, public holidays, physical inspection scheduling, requests for further documentation, policy changes, and the completeness of the documents you supply.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for giving us accurate, complete and current information and documents. You confirm that every document you provide is genuine, validly issued, and belongs to your company.
Submitting forged, altered or invalid documents is a serious matter. Regulators verify documents directly with issuing authorities. Where we discover or reasonably suspect that a document is not genuine, we will stop work immediately, no refund will be due, and we may be obliged to report the matter.
You are also responsible for responding to our requests for information within a reasonable time, keeping your compliance documents valid throughout the application, making your premises, equipment and personnel available where a physical inspection is required, and paying official fees and our service fees when due.
Delays caused by late responses, expired documents or unavailability for inspection are not our responsibility.
Fees and payment
Our quotes distinguish between official fees, which are payable to regulators, agencies, certification bodies or operators, and our service fees, which are payable to us for preparing and processing your application.
Official fees are set by the relevant authority and may change without notice. Where an authority increases its fees after you have paid, you are responsible for the difference. Work generally begins once payment or the agreed deposit has been received. Fees are quoted in Naira unless stated otherwise.
Where an application requires additional work not covered by the original quote, such as a CAC alteration, additional permit categories, or regularising expired compliance records, we will tell you and agree the cost before proceeding.
Scope of engagement
Each engagement covers only the permits, registrations or certificates set out in the quote or engagement letter you accept. Anything outside that list, including additional product codes, further permit categories or renewals, is a separate engagement.
No legal advice or professional relationship through the website
Content on this website, including articles, guides and requirement lists, is general information about regulatory processes in Nigeria. It is not legal advice and it does not address the circumstances of any particular company.
Reading this website, submitting an enquiry form or messaging us does not create a lawyer and client relationship or any professional retainer. A professional relationship arises only when we agree the scope of work in writing and you accept our terms of engagement.
Communication
By submitting your details you agree that we may contact you by email, phone and WhatsApp about your enquiry or application. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time. We will still send transactional messages relating to an active application.
Confidentiality
We treat your company information and documents as confidential. We disclose them only to the authorities and service providers needed to complete your engagement, or where the law requires it. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
All content on oilandgaspermit.ng, including text, articles, guides, layout, design, graphics and code, belongs to TCorporate Legal Advisory and is protected under Nigerian copyright law. You may not copy, republish, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
Names of regulators, agencies and operators are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the service fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for official fees paid to third parties, for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, contracts, tenders, business opportunities or reputation.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. Where you end an engagement after work has begun, our Refund Policy applies. We may end an engagement where you fail to provide required documents or payment, where you supply false documents, or where continuing would breach the law or our professional obligations.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts. We encourage you to raise any concern with us first so we can try to resolve it directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you accept an engagement governs that engagement.
